Kasia's first real job after graduating from Leicester College of Art was with Whitemore Thomas Design they were the interior and graphic design company responsible for transforming the Derry & Toms building on Kensington High Street London, into what was to become (oh so briefly) the iconic BIBA department store of the early 70's.

For two intense years, Kasia worked closely with creative director Steve Thomas in the development of iconography, packaging and promotional materials for the launch of the new store.

Much of Kasia's original work for Biba is now in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London.
